STEWARDWOMEN holds radio talk show on stigma in the justice system
With Support from Synergy for Justice, STEWARDWOMEN held three (3) radio talk shows awareness campaigns on stigma in the justice system and the establishment of safe and free reporting channels such as free 24-hour hotlines for CRSV survivors in South Sudan. The radio talks were held in Juba, Bentiu, and Bor respectively. Panellists of the talk shows, including representatives of the Survivors Networks shared the different experiences on stigma, being one of the hindrances to access to justice and other needs by survivors, the important to challenge stigma within ourselves and in others to create a more inclusive and supportive society where survivors’ voices are heard, their rights are defended, and their choices are explored.
